《湖南消防》是我省消防宣传工作的一个重要窗口,也是宣传我省消防部队建设的一个重要阵地.创刊十五年来,从不定期、季刊、双月刊到现在的月刊,经历了摸索经验、掌握规律、不断创新的发展过程.它融专业性、法规性、知识性、技术性、文学性于一体,越办越活,发行量逐年增加,这是总队领导和社会各界关注的结果,也是编辑人员和广大通讯员、记者辛勤耕耘的结晶.十多年来,它紧跟党的中心,适应新的形势,把讲政治摆在首位,没有低级庸俗的气味,没有高谈阔论的腔调,为我省普及消防知识,提高消防法制观念,增强全民消防意识,树立消防部队良好形象作出了积极的贡献.一是办刊宗旨明确.从创刊到现在,它紧紧围绕经济建设这个中心,抓住新的历史条件下消防工作面临的新情况、新问题,用先进的消防科技知识武装群众,用大量的火灾教训启示群众,用先进典型激励群众,用消防法规约束群众.通过这些宣传鼓动,形成一定的舆论声势,把群防群治的积极性调动起来,为广大群众同火灾
