一个民族的语言单凭自己内部的发展是不够的，它还得随时吸收外来语以丰富本族语。正是这样，对汉民族来说，外来语的汉化（本土化）也就自然而然成为该走、必走的一步。本文拟在论述外来语的汉化规律和特点的同时，探讨外来语国际化的必要性。
It is not enough for a nation’s language alone to develop itself. It must also absorb foreign words at any time to enrich its native language.
