从踏入新闻单位第一天起,老报人就向我灌输“真实是新闻的生命”的思想,且说不管新闻观念如何更新,这一条万万不能更新,不但不能削弱,反要日益强化。这是因为这儿指的生命,不是指某一个人肉体式的生命,而是指整个新闻事业的生命。有许多读者,把新闻当成真实的现实教科书来读,他们把这样的“生命”奉为至宝。然而如今有些新闻已严重地违反新闻的真实性原则,且作假细节愈来愈离奇、恶劣。那篇臭名昭著的《熊掌风波》已为世人所知,这里就不说了。
From the very first day on the news organization, the old newspaper reporter instills in me the idea of “real life of news,” and said that no matter how the concept of news should be renewed, this article must not be renewed. It can not only be weakened, but must be increasingly strengthened. This is because the life here refers not to the physical life of one individual but to the life of the entire journalistic career. There are many readers who read the news as real, realistic textbooks, and they regard such “life” as the most precious book. However, some news today has gravely violated the principle of the authenticity of the news, and the details of the fraud are getting increasingly bizarre and poor. The notorious “pawn storm” has been known to the world, not here to say.
