In November 1917, when the October socialist revolution broke out in Russia and the Bolshevik Party under Lenin’s leadership established the first socialist proletariat in the history of mankind, it brought tremendous shock to the entire capitalist world. Because of this, the United States, together with Britain and France, launched a series of interventionist activities against the young Soviet Republic. After these activities failed, Britain and France successively recognized the Soviet Union around 1924, while the United States continued to implement its policy of hostility toward the Soviet Union.
