科技翻译是非文学翻译的一种重要实用文体。本文依据法国达尼尔·吉尔的翻译序列模式,对科技英汉翻译实践的四个步骤——建立意义假设、对意义假设进行合理化检查、重新表达及核对译文忠实性,进行了技巧上的探讨,指出考虑到目前科技翻译教学的对象及科技文本的特点,科技翻译教学应强调查找相关背景知识的重要性,并提出把握科技英语修辞特点和英汉语言差异对翻译教学的成功起着至关重要的作用。
Scientific and technical translation is an important and practical style of non-literary translation. Based on the French Danielle Gil ’s translation sequence model, this paper explores the four steps in the practice of English - Chinese translation of science and technology by establishing the hypothesis of meaning, rationally examining the meaning hypothesis, re - expressing and verifying the translation loyalty, It is pointed out that considering the characteristics of current science and technology translation teaching and scientific texts, teaching of science and technology translation should emphasize the importance of finding related background knowledge and put forward that it is very important to grasp the rhetorical features of English of science and technology and the differences between English and Chinese to the success of translation teaching effect.
