小平同志南巡谈话发表和党的十四大胜利召开,一个以经济建设为中心的热潮遍及祖国大地。在这种大好形势下,“全国公共图书馆工作会议”在我区柳州市召开。乘此东风,“全区公共图书馆工作会议”亦在柳州同时进行。借此机会,我就全区图书馆事业前几年的工作情况、改革的设想及今后作法讲一些意见,旨在大家取得共识,同心协力地将我区图书馆事业向前推进一步。一、历史的回顾(略) 二、思考与对策在改革的大形势、大环境下,图书馆事业面临着困难、机遇和挑战。图书馆只有从自身发展的规律和工作特点出发,实事求是,深化改革,才是出路。下面,谈谈我们的一些想法和意见。
