实践表明,用罐头瓶装料制平菇栽培种,菌丝生长比用袋装料好,瓶装菌种播后24小时菌种块开始萌发,而袋装菌种播后要3天才能萌发。瓶装菌种,菌丝浓白、粗壮,吃料快;而袋装的菌丝呈灰白色,吃料慢。究其原因,主要是罐头瓶制种,菌种接触点多,生长快,15天长满全瓶,菌龄短,菌丝代谢旺盛;而袋装菌种接触点少,生长慢,25~30天以上才能长满袋,菌龄过长,再加之袋口的水分蒸发快,上部菌丝容易干燥,有老化现象,从而降低了菌种质量。另外,用袋子制种成本也比较高,因为袋子只能使用一次,而罐头瓶制种,如瓶子不破可以连续使用。
