1982年,经过4年的学习,我在汕头戏曲学校毕业了。毕业演出的剧目是《穆桂英》,我饰主角穆桂英。毕业演出后,这台戏与其他折子戏在汕头与观众见面,公演效果很好,观众反应热烈。演出结束后,任课老师对我们作一次毕业前夕的讲话。她说,这次毕业演出效果不错,这3台晚会的剧目,是经过前辈几代艺人的创造,作为教学剧目,由你们继承下来;观众对演出感到满意,是因为演出有艺术欣赏价值,今后你们不管分配哪个剧团,演什么剧目,一定要认认真真地去表演创造,只有不断地创造优秀的作品给观众欣赏,作为演员才有价值。
