最近日本使用一种能节省工业炉能源的炉壁涂料。这种涂料主要是采用一种极其细小的SiC(碳化硅)粉末加水、粘结剂混合配制而成的液浆。据报道,将此液浆涂刷于加热炉炉壁(特别是锻造加热炉),可以达到节能效果。 SiC具有辐射性能高的特点,同时也具有良好的耐热性能和良好的耐急冷急热性能等优点,SiC本身耐酸耐碱的稳定性能也很好。日本有关部门根据SiC的这些特点,研究配制成这种耐热性能极高的(能耐1650℃高温)节能涂料。
