A study of over-sedentary people who are sedentary often shows that heart-healthy exercise is more important than exercise intensity. And excessive exercise is not good for heart health and many people will be willing to hear about it. In a report published in the U.S. Journal of the Thoracic Surgeons, researchers in North Carolina said that a light walk of 12 miles or 125 to 200 minutes a week would greatly improve people’s health
