本文认为:为了最大限度发挥农村高中英语课堂教学的作用,一是应充分重视英语词法、句法、文章结构的元语言知识教学,帮助学生建构英语语言体系,这是基本维度,与课文内容相结合建构课堂教学基本框架;二是同时扩大学生相关的跨文化知识面;三是建构“真实的”交际环境,三者共同建构起英语课堂教学的三维体系,才能使高中学生切实感到在英语语言的学习中学有所获、学有所得,避免汉语式英语,重视英语表达的严密的逻辑性,形成英语思维,同时又形成国际化的视野,激起渴望了解英语所展示的外面世界。
