我叫窦祥厚,1923年12月14日生,今年80岁(编者注:采访时年龄),南京电扇厂退休职工,现住南京南湖车站村7幢19号。我家祖籍南京,1937年住在夫子庙大石坝街183号。家里亲人有父亲窦晴芳,大哥窦祥裕,二哥窦祥昌,姐姐窦祥福,四哥窦祥章和我。在我五岁时母亲王氏去世。父亲窦晴芳是个教书先生,曾在夫子庙孔子教育会讲道德经,还在水师学校、光华学堂教过外国人。
My name is Dou Xianghou, born December 14, 1923, and I am 80 years old (Editor’s note: Age at interview). Retired employee of Nanjing Fan Factory now lives on the 19th of Nanjing South Lake Station Village. My family originated in Nanjing, in 1937, living in No. 183 Dashi Dam Street Confucius Temple. Relatives at home father Dou Qingfang, brother Xiang Xiang, brother Ang Cheong-chang, sister Dou Xiangfu, brother Gordon Xiang and me. When I was five, my mother died. His father, Dou Qingfang, is a teacher who taught Taoist moral education at the Confucius Education Association in Confucius Temple and taught foreigners in the Naval Academy and Guanghua School.
