目前,报业面临的竞争不是全球媒体,也不是国内的全国性大报,真正的竞争对手还是同城的地方媒体和正在迅速崛起的网络新媒体。中国传媒产业今年的发展将超过5千亿元,2007年整个传媒产业的产值达到4800亿,2008年预计将达到5400亿左右的规模。在整个传媒产业中,报业占到11%的市场份额,这500多亿中包括320多亿的广告收入,200亿左右的发行收入。
At present, the competition the newspaper industry is facing is not the global media, nor is it a national grand newspaper in the country. The real competitor is the local media in the same city and the rapidly emerging online new media. The development of China’s media industry will exceed 500 billion yuan this year. In 2007, the output value of the entire media industry will reach 480 billion yuan and in 2008 it is expected to reach a scale of about 540 billion yuan. In the media industry as a whole, the newspaper industry accounts for 11% of the market. This 500 billion yuan includes more than 32 billion in advertising revenue and about 20 billion in issuing revenue.
