Indian Oil Minister Aiyar visited China on January 11 for a three-day visit and discussed with the leaders of the China Development and Reform Commission on the cooperation in the energy field. Aiyar is the first Indian minister to visit China during the “China-India Friendship Year.” The population of China and India, accounting for about one-third of the world’s population, is also the fastest-growing two of the world’s major economies.
