空军副司令员辛殿枫、副参谋长王良旺等一行8人,在航空工业总公司副总经理张彦仲、发动机局局长陈浚及科技局副局长何怿晋的陪同下,于1995年3月17日到燃气涡轮研究所视察工作。其间,首先参观了高空模拟试车台,部分零、部件试验设备及预研核心机,听取了有关情况的介绍,并详细询问了高空台的性能、使用范围、标定情况及预研核心机的性能与结构等问题。参观结束后,又听取了所长焦天佑和副所长江和甫关于燃气涡轮研究所的情况及未来先进发动机研制进程的汇报。最后,辛副司令员和王副参谋长作了重要指示。他们首先对30年来在远离大城市的山沟里呕心沥血、艰苦奋斗,为我国航空事业作出了巨大贡献的燃气涡轮研究所全体职工和科技人员表示感谢;并指出燃气涡轮研究所的设备建设取得了很大成绩,核心机的研究工作做得扎实,今后应积极推进未来先进发动机的研制工作。空军的态度是坚定支持,决不动摇。虽然经费十分困难,但今年已部分落实,要把钱真正用在预研上。希望加快步伐,早出成果。
