褐菖鲉[Sebastiscus marmoratus(Cuvier)]人工育苗、养殖近几年研究和开展的比较多。褐菖鲉属卵胎生鱼类,怀卵量不大,3～5龄亲鱼怀卵量一般在1～5万粒之间。褐菖鲉属肉食性鱼类,人工育苗中存在弱肉强食的现象较严重,人工育苗的成活率不高,一般成活率为10％。 一、基本条件、材料与方法 用于人工育苗的亲鱼可以采用海区捕获的性成熟的雌鱼,亦可以选用养成的雌鱼。一般用于育苗的亲鱼一定要选择腹部饱满、柔软、体型较大的雌鱼作为产仔亲鱼。为使亲鱼达到人工育苗的要求,产仔前放入海上网箱(1.5×1.5×1.5m)进行加强培育。 产仔及仔稚鱼饲育水槽前期可选用透明有机玻璃1吨圆形水槽,后期可用6吨水泥方形水槽(池)。 饲育水根据水位差原理,采用上加下流的方式,使水质保持清新,日交换水量控制在1/3,水温控制在11.3～22.3℃。
