历史上的一些重要人物,往往具有“跨时代”的意义。所谓“跨时代”,一是指人物本身处于两个时代更替的转型期,再是指其思想或行为具有超越时代的影响力而常常被后人重新认识。例如孔子的时代位置,以及不同历史时期的孔子形象就是如此。在中国音乐史上,略早于孔子的师旷,就是这样一位跨时代的人物。 师旷作为上古乐师,处在先秦“礼崩乐坏”的文化转型期。
