随着城市化进程的推进,新生代农民工城市的建设正发挥着不可替代的作用。但由于传统二元社会结构和法律因素的影响,以及农民工自身的因素,他们的各项社会保障基本权益得不到切实保护,为社会的和谐发展埋下了隐患。因此,探讨我国新生代农民工的社会保障问题是非常有必要的,而且对于维护新生代农民工权益,巩固党的执政基础和构建社会主义和谐社会有着重要的现实意义。
With the progress of urbanization, the construction of the new generation of migrant workers’ cities is playing an irreplaceable role. However, due to the influence of the traditional dual social structure and legal factors as well as the migrant workers’ own factors, their basic social security rights have not been effectively protected, laying a hidden danger for the harmonious development of society. Therefore, it is very necessary to probe into the social security of the new generation of migrant workers in our country, and it is of great practical significance to safeguard the rights and interests of the new generation of migrant workers, consolidate the party’s governing foundation and build a harmonious socialist society.
