翻译研究在英语研究中起着重要的作用“。文化转向”这一研究现象的出现,使传统的翻译研究面临严峻的挑战。最初,研究翻译的目标主要是纯语言层面,而“文化转向”后的研究目标扩展到了政治、社会、文化生活等多个层面。本文认为,“文化转向”的出现,为翻译研究开辟了一条新的道路。
Translation studies play an important role in the study of English. The advent of the phenomenon of “cultural shift” has made traditional translation studies a serious challenge. Initially, the study of translation mainly focused on purely linguistic aspects, and the research goal of “Cultural Turn” expanded to include political, social and cultural life. This paper argues that the advent of “cultural shift” opens up a new path for translation studies.
