ＧＥＮＥＳＩＳ是美国Ｍｏｎｓａｎｔｏ农业化学公司研制的一种新型小麦化学杂交剂。试验专门对其杀雄效果进行了初步研究。结果表明：参试的５个品种，在生育期Ｆｅｅｋｅｓ标准８．０－９．０时，用ＧＥＮＥＳＩＳ进行一次叶面喷施，３．０ｋｇ／ｈｍ２和５．０ｋｇ／ｈｍ２剂量下，均可达到９９．０％以上的杀雄效果，人工饱和授粉证明ＧＥＮＥＳＩＳ对雌蕊的育性没有影响；在高剂量７．０ｋｇ／ｈｍ２、９．０ｋｇ／ｈｍ２下，ＧＥＮＥＳＩＳ对小麦的生长发育也没有其它有害影响，是目前小麦杂种优势利用中所采用的化学杂交剂中最优良的一种。
