为提高H.264编码码流在丢包网络上的传输性能,提出了一种视频前向/后向联合差错控制算法。结合了考虑信道条件的率失真模式选择(前向)和基于反馈的差错跟踪(后向)两种技术。后向差错控制技术能充分利用已知的解码器状态,而前向技术可对由于往返延时而未知的解码器状态做出估计,二者的结合使用能够进行更好的差错控制。仿真结果表明:在不同的信道条件下,相对于简单的随机帧内宏块更新算法,该算法可以提高重建图像峰值信噪比达0.8~2.7dB。
In order to improve the transmission performance of H.264 encoded stream on packet loss network, a video forward / backward joint error control algorithm is proposed. The combination of rate distortion mode selection (forward) considering channel conditions and error tracking (backward) based feedback techniques are two. Backward error control techniques take full advantage of known decoder states, whereas forward techniques estimate the state of the decoder due to round-trip delays, and the combination of the two enables better error control. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can improve the peak signal-to-noise ratio of reconstructed images by 0.8 ~ 2.7dB compared with the simple random intra-macroblock updating algorithm under different channel conditions.
