光纤通信是本世纪最伟大的成就之一,光纤波分复用是实现超高速、超大容量通信的最佳方式.本文提出一种新颖模式的波分复用通信系统—全光纤集成型系统.光发射机由全光纤激光器构成,光接收机使用的是全光纤光栅ADM,传输中继则由光纤EDFA 完成.首次对这类系统及其各组成部分进行了成功地研制,并在实验上成功地实现了4×2.5Gb/s速率、100km 距离的信息传输.
Optical fiber communication is one of the greatest accomplishments of this century, and fiber optic wavelength division multiplexing is the best way to achieve ultra-high speed, very large capacity communications. This paper presents a novel mode of WDM communications system - all-fiber integrated system. The optical transmitter consists of an all-fiber laser, the optical receiver uses an all-fiber grating ADM, and the transmission relay is completed by the optical fiber EDFA. For the first time, this kind of system and its various components have been successfully developed, and successfully achieved the 4 × 2.5Gb / s rate, 100km distance information transmission.
