在21世纪这个崭新的时代里,“高新技术为核心的知识经济将占主导地位,国家的综合国力和国际竞争能力将越来越取决于教育发展、科学技术和知识创新的水平”。信息网络技术极大地拓展了教育的时空界限,提高了人们学习的能动性。知识经济时代,信息素养成为科学素养的重要基础,掌握收集、整理信息的能力尤为重要。对于一名小学科学教师来说,就更有必要从小培养学生收集整理信息的能力,为学生将来的竞争打下扎实的基础。
