Since the establishment of the Schaffhausen in Switzerland in 1802, the Georg Fischer Group Company now owns three core business groups: Automotive Products Group, Piping Systems Group and Processing Technology Group. More than 15,000 employees, 140 subsidiaries located in more than 100 countries around the world, annual sales of more than 20 billion US dollars. Among them, the Georg Fischer Piping Systems Group is committed to research and development, production and in the international market for the promotion of industrial, municipal, civil construction of various liquid and gas transmission and distribution piping systems. Components for dispensing, measuring, controlling liquids and gases are made of various plastics or metals. George Fischer introduced its heat-resistant polyethylene (PE-RT) product in 2004, offering a whole new range of options for owners and designers alike. In Europe, heat-resistant polyethylene (PE-RT) resins have been used for more than 20 years in pipe production. Since the 1980s, Dow Chemical Company has been continuously improving PE-RT, eventually developing PE-RT products with excellent long-term hydrostatic resistance.
