《咬文嚼字》2000年第2期江源先生《闲话“走狗”》一文中谈到:“清代名画家郑板桥对徐渭无限崇敬,刻了一枚印章‘青藤门下走狗’。”对此,王剑华先生有不同意见,曾写了《郑板桥没自称走狗》一文(见《咬文嚼字》2000年第10期),其中有一段是这样写的:“清人徐兆丰在其《风月读余录》中曾收由郑板桥自辑之《板桥先生印册》,其中有一印曰‘青藤门下牛马走’(吴于珍刻)。”王先生最后的结论是“可知《闲话“走狗”》所引,系以讹传讹,不可信也”。 手头有一本《中国文坛掌故事典》(上海辞书出版社1993年6月第1版),清代逸闻部分有《郑燮 童钰》一则,主要文字如下:
