隐喻长期以来被看作是一种语言现象,认知理论则认为是一种思维方式,也是人们用一种领域诠释另一领域的行为方式。作为语言根基所在的文化,与隐喻密切相关。文化是隐喻概念形成的源泉,隐喻是文化的重要体现。本文通过对汉英“爱情”与“愤怒”隐喻的分析,揭示中西文化的差异和变迁。
Metaphor has long been regarded as a linguistic phenomenon, while cognitive theory is considered as a way of thinking and a way in which people interpret one field from another. The culture that is the foundation of language is closely related to metaphor. Culture is the source of metaphor concept, metaphor is an important manifestation of culture. By analyzing the metaphors of “love” and “anger” in Chinese and English, this paper reveals the differences and changes between Chinese and Western cultures.
