EMC病毒引起的糖尿病:Craighead等已证实,脑心肌炎(EMC)病毒的M株,在小鼠可产生典型的胰岛素缺乏糖尿病,特别侵袭胰岛组织,而腺泡则不受侵犯。Boucher等(1973)的研究证实,与一批对照的注射动物的血糖水平相比,用EMC病毒接种的动物血糖水平升高。在6~10天,68%有高糖血症,血浆胰岛素水平下降,胰岛对葡萄糖的反应受损。小部分EMC病毒感染的动物发展到持久的糖尿病和酮病。柯萨奇病毒B_3和B_4:一些时候以来已知某些柯萨奇B病毒伴发胰腺炎。晚近,Burch等(1971)用电子显微镜证实B_1和B_4感染后胰岛的改变。本文的研究,详细检查了柯萨奇B_3和B_4病毒感染在某些株小鼠所引起的胰岛改变。适应的和非适应的哥萨奇
Diabetes caused by EMC virus: Craighead et al. Have demonstrated that the M strain of encephalomyocarditis (EMC) virus produces typical insulin-deficient diabetes in mice, particularly pancreatic islets, while the acinar is invulnerable. Studies by Boucher et al. (1973) confirmed that blood glucose levels in animals vaccinated with EMC virus were elevated compared to blood glucose levels in a group of control injected animals. In 6 to 10 days, 68% had hyperglycemia, decreased plasma insulin levels, and impaired islet response to glucose. A small fraction of EMC virus-infected animals develop persistent diabetes and ketosis. Coxsackie viruses B_3 and B_4: Some Coxsackie B viruses have been known to have associated pancreatitis for some time. More recently, Burch et al. (1971) confirmed the changes of islets after B_1 and B_4 infection by electron microscopy.
