矛盾是普遍存在的,作为创作与欣赏的关系也不例外。创作与欣赏是关系范畴,二者既有对立的一面,也有统一或同一的一面。古今中外难以胜数的创作与欣赏实践证明:彼此没有同一性,白居易大概不会唱出“同是天涯沦落人”的诗句;彼此没有同一性,欧洲当年大概不会掀起风靡一时的“维特热”;彼此没有同一性,中国大概也不会有“红迷”遗恨,流传于世。当然,创作与欣赏的矛盾同一性是有条件的,相对的。不可能一个审美对象会得到天下人的普遍青睐,得到部分读者或观众的赏识就算是“上帝”的厚爱;一个审美主体的欣赏趣味当然也不可能始终如一,永恒不变,总是随着主客观条件的变
