海上下线钓鱼,是一种长距离的延线钓鱼法。这种方法,是我们胶东沿海一带渔民古老的传统钓鱼方法。主要是以帆船为主,网具有流网、拖网、固定底网和固定浮网。零散的、力量薄弱的渔民大多以下筐线捕鱼为主。筐线,是用一条长300～500米的主线,线头留出5～10米开始拴鱼钧,再每隔2．5～3米拴一把,钧系长约1．2～1．5米。这条主线可拴125～150把钩。要把这些线和钧系有序地盘绕在一个上口直径60～70厘米,底约15厘米的浅沿矮筐里。线筐可用柳条或竹条编成。筐沿绑一根一指粗的稻草或蓑草把,将钧一把挨一把地钧在草把上。
