Yu Zhiyuan, as a scholar, educator, calligrapher and social activist, has an indelible merit in opening up the calligraphy education in Liaoning Province and spreading the Chinese cultural world. He is a patriot who saves the country with his business and uses calligraphy as a medium to build a friendship bridge between China and foreign countries for cultural exchanges. He made outstanding contributions to the friendly development of China and foreign countries and is honored as the father of folk culture and friendship.
