解放以来,各个艺术部门为农村服务较多的要数戏剧。从普及基础上求提高的角度上来看,戏剧的现有的基础最为深厚,而且大部分地区都是曾经有过而且继续进行着提高工作的。不过我们这国家是个多民族、多剧种的大国,各个地区、各个剧种的戏剧工作者、领导者,对自己所参与、所指导的剧种的发展前途,都各自有些什么看法、想法,因所在地区的条件千差万别,不可能也不应该要求一致,因而各按当地现在的社会要求来研究一下如何提高,提往何处去,仍是有益的事。不过兹事体大,我个人知道得不多,因此我不准备谈编、导、排、演等戏剧内部的事,而只想就不同剧种的组织大小、流布疏
Since the liberation, various art departments have served more drama in rural areas. From the perspective of popularization, the present foundation of drama is the deepest, and most of the regions have had and continue to improve their work. However, our country is a multi-ethnic and multi-operatic big country. The theater workers and leaders in various regions and various operas each have their own opinions and ideas about the future of the operas they participate in and are guided by. The conditions are very different and it is neither possible nor desirable that they should be unanimous. Therefore, it is still beneficial to study how to improve and whereabouts should be based on the current local social demands. However, everything is huge and I personally do not know much. Therefore, I am not prepared to talk about the internal workings of the dramas, guides, platoons, performances, and the like.
