The ventral midbrain of rat embryos with different head buttocks length (CRL) 10-22mm (E13-18) was taken as a suspension and transplanted into the dopaminergic (DA) neurolateral striatum of model rats with Parkinson’s disease. It was found that the behavioral effects of transplanted mice with CRLs of 10-16 mm (E13-15) embryonic brain donors and survival of DA neurons in the transplanted region were better than those with 17-22 mm donors with CRL.
