2005年6月7日至9日,应中国三峡总公司的邀请,何祚庥院士来到三峡工地。他认真考察了正在施工中的三峡工地,前往中华鲟研究所了解中华鲟人工繁殖的情况,并为三峡建设者作了题为《以人为本和科学发展》的专题报告。期间,何祚庥院士接受了本刊记者的采访。记者对何院士精力旺盛、思维敏捷早有耳闻,但还是想不到,已78岁高龄的何祚庥院士不间断地作了3个多小时的报告,始终声音宏亮,思路清晰。报告过程中,他从马克思主义、邓小平理论谈到我国经济发展不同阶段,从国际国内形势谈到我国能源前景,渊博的学识,严谨的逻辑,敏锐的洞察力,让三峡建设者对他肃然起敬。带着对这位著名科学家的崇敬,对这位反伪科学斗士的敬仰,我们走近了何祚庥院士。
