戏剧是什么?或者说什么是戏剧?要解答这个古老而年轻的命题,看似简单而实非简单。长期以来,我们对这个问题的答案并无定论,且缺乏准确性、完整性、科学性。最普遍的一种说法是:戏剧是演员当众表演一个故事。这是个似是而非的定义。说它“是”,乃是因为它提及了作为戏剧所必要的四个要素中的三个要素:演员、观众、故事;而且“当众”二字,说明是演员亲自登场,面对观众表演。说它“非”,乃是因为它忽略了演员与观众一定要有一个共处的空间这一必备的要素。也许有
What is drama or what is drama? To answer this ancient and young proposition, it seems simple and not easy. For a long time, our answer to this question has been inconclusive and lacks accuracy, completeness and scientific nature. The most common argument is that drama is a performer performing a public story. This is a paradoxical definition.
