方志期刊是地方志学界的有关方志理论研究、志书编纂、指导修志工作等方面的专业期刊。《新疆地方志》由新疆地方志编委会主管、主办,《新疆地方志》编辑部编辑出版。它是随着社会主义新方志编修工作的启动、方志事业的蓬勃发展应运而生的。1983年8月创刊,原名《新疆方志通讯》,当时为内部刊物,1989年更名为《新疆地方志》,1991年由国家新闻出版署批准
Local Journal is a periodical journal of local history theory research, compilation of Zhi Shizhi, Guidance Chi Chi and other aspects of professional journals. “Xinjiang local history” by the Xinjiang local history editorial board, hosted, “Xinjiang local history” editorial department editor. It is with the start of the compilation of the new socialist local chronicles, the vigorous development of local chronicles.
