Fiberoptic bronchoscopy (hereinafter referred to as fibrobronchoscopy) is one of the methods of diagnosing lung cancer. We collected abnormal X-rays from May 1986 to September 1997 in our hospital. The patients were suspected of being diagnosed with lung cancer. There were no tumors under the bronchoscope. 115 patients were diagnosed with lung cancer by brushing cytology.
