Introduction Inorganic indium antimonide photovoltaic infrared detector, due to its modern detector performance, military and industrial use of infrared devices have been more widely used. Cell and multivariate detector performance has been developed to the extent of the background radiation limit (BLIP). Although this detector is widely used, the published data are few and the useful data are few, and the working characteristics of the existing antimonide indium detectors can not be fully understood. The purpose of this paper is to review the general characteristics of this detector and to indicate the level of specific performance it is capable of reaching. Of particular importance to the user is the limited level of performance of the field of view.
