“5·12”特大地震灾害,使陕西10市、92个县、1022个乡镇、9357个村的350万人受灾,汉中、宝鸡、咸阳、西安市灾情严重。截止5月30日上午10时,陕西省死亡121人,受伤2940人,农村倒塌房屋10.7万多间,损坏房屋60.1万多间,城市居民住宅倒塌2812户、25.3万平方米,严重受损2.36万户、212.2万平方米。转移安置城乡受灾群众118.3万多人,同时,学校、医院、交通、水利、电力、通讯、广电等公共设施和基础设施损毁严重。直接经济损失达162.4亿元。
