This paper discusses the reasonable organization of the working process of a small bore direct injection diesel engine, analyzes the difficulties encountered in the direct injection of a small bore diesel engine, introduces the research results of the 285 direct injection diesel engine, and puts forward some suggestions for developing a small bore direct injection diesel engine .
