多数海绵状脑病(CJD)患者的临床进程比较快,几个月内即死亡。然而,部分病例却逐渐进展经过相当长的时间,临床表现很难与慢性进行性痴呆综合征区别。作者考察了20年中遇到的长病程CJD,并从临床、神经病理和动物接种结果方面将传播的(transmitted)、未传播的、和临床疑似而病理检查反证的三组 CJD 病例作了对比研究。
The majority of patients with spongiform encephalopathy (CJD) have a faster clinical course and die within a few months. However, some cases have gradually progressed over a long period of time, the clinical manifestations of chronic dementia complex and difficult to distinguish. The authors looked at the long course of CJD encountered over 20 years and compared three groups of CJD cases that were transmitted (transmitted), not transmitted, and clinically suspected and pathologically examined, in terms of clinical, neuropathological and animal inoculation results the study.
