冶金部轧钢情报网于1978年11月15~21日在上海召开了初轧生产技术经验交流会.出席会议的有全国各初轧厂、设计院以及高等院校等54个单位.冶金部副部长马宾同志在会上讲了话.初轧生产目前在我国钢铁生产中是一薄弱环节.抓好初轧,不断提高初轧生产技术,有计划有步骤地进行革新、改造、挖潜、推广新技术,尽速实现初轧生产自动化,以增加开坯能力,提高成坯率,这是一项十分紧迫的任务.会议通过决定,今后每年召开一次全国性的初轧生产技术交流会.并加强初轧生产技术情报的交流.与会代表还建议冶金部组织有关单位对改进烧钢工艺、可塑料应用、可调烧咀、轧制制度、轧辊堆焊、剪切定尺、钢坯清理机械化、钢坯自动测量等方面进行攻关,予以突破.会议期间,共收到了50多份专题报告和有关资料.会上重点介绍交流了大冶钢厂“850初轧机采用计算机实现压下程序控制”;鞍钢一初轧“工业控制机在均热炉上的应用”;天津初轧厂“750
