一、品种来源。晋棉10号系山西省农科院作物遗传所于1975年以自育品系194为母本,锦68—3为父本进行杂交,后经加代选择,室内考种,株系鉴定及品比试验连续选择而成。1982～1988年按程序参加品比试验,省区域试验,生产示范及棉纤维品质检验。
