近些年来,学术界对社会工程的把握经历了从改变社会世界的典型实践形态到社会设计模式、从社会设计模式到人类把握现代世界的基本方式、从自然工程一般类比到大数据的科学技术支撑的历程。在“互联网+”时代,大数据技术已经渗透到社会经济、政治、文化等领域,正深刻地改变着人们的生产方式、生活方式、思维方式、情感方式。在这种技术背景下,“社会工程”再也不仅仅是与“自然工程”相对应的某种隐喻,而是可以科学技术化地把握现代社会世界的一种基本方式。
