朱建平是青海省人大代表,曾在青海省国有资产监督管理委员会等多个部门任正职;因在格尔木市任市长、市委书记期间涉嫌受贿罪被捕,于2016年11月被西宁市城西区人民法院一审判处有期徒刑10年6个月。朱建平不服一审判决,上诉至西宁市中级人民法院。2017年5月27日,西宁市中级人民法院开庭审理本案并同意关键证人出庭接受询问。在旁听这起案件的庭审后,记者写下了这篇旁听记。
Zhu Jianping, a deputies to the Qinghai Provincial People’s Congress, served as the principal in various departments such as Qinghai Provincial State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission. He was arrested on charges of accepting bribes during his tenure as mayor and party secretary in Golmud. In November 2016, People’s Court of First Instance sentenced to 10 years and 6 months. Zhu Jianping refused to accept the judgment of the first instance and appealed to the Intermediate People’s Court of Xining. On May 27, 2017, Xining Intermediate People’s Court held a court hearing and agreed that key witnesses should appear before the court for questioning.
