Recent studies have shown that the expression of laminin (EIN) E-cadherin is absent but high molecular weight CK is positive. This finding helps to classify many morphologically indefinable intraepithelial neoplasms into ductal or lobular types. The study reported 18 cases of breast LIN with classical morphological features of LIN but with acne-like necrosis. Complete lack of related lesions (99%) E-cadherin expression was used as a case study
