周惠平任江西省广丰县残联理事长已有8年,始终兢兢业业、身体力行地为残疾人谋利益。他注重深入基层、深入残疾人家中,倾听残疾人的心声,了解他们的要求,结合残联的工作扶助广大残疾人,帮助他们改善民生,扎扎实实为残疾人谋福利。康复是残疾人恢复改善功能,参与社会生活的前提条件,也是保障他们生命健康权的基本要求。2005年,周惠平了解到广丰县的白内障患者特别多,而多数患者又由于支付不起医疗费用而长期处于黑暗中。他就多次跑上级和有关部门请求给予支持,在
Zhou Huiping, director of the CDPF in Guangfeng County, Jiangxi Province, has been working for eight years and is always dedicated to the interests of people with disabilities.
