2005年9月,《中华遗产》杂志刊发了一封读者来信,反映因乌江上游彭水水电站的修建,重庆南部的龚滩古镇有可能遭受灭顶之灾。此信引起了建设部、国家文物局等相关部门的高度重视。许多专家学者及政府官员纷纷致电或写信,不约而同地表示:龚滩古镇蕴涵着极其丰富的历史文化遗产,它能把一千七百多年的巴人历史传承延续至今,本身就是一个奇迹。有没有办法可以改变它将被淹没的命运?
In September 2005, “China Heritage” magazine published a letter from a readership that reflects the possible drowsiness of Gongtan Ancient Town in the south of Chongqing due to the construction of Pengshui hydropower station in the upper reaches of Wujiang River. This letter caused the Ministry of Construction, the State Administration of Cultural Heritage and other relevant departments attach great importance. Many experts, scholars and government officials have telephoned or wrote one after another, stating spontaneously that the ancient town of Gongtan contains an extremely rich historical and cultural heritage. It can in itself extend the history of more than 1,700 years of patriarchy to the present and is in itself a miracle. Is there any way to change the destiny it will be overwhelmed?
