在全面开展素质教育的新形势下,高质量的体育教师不仅涉及到自身的素质,而且涉及到体育教学的全过程和教学质量。二十一世纪是教育的世纪。学校体育对体育教师的知识水平、技能水平、创新水平等综合素质也提出了更新更高更深的要求。为了更好地适应健康教育和人才培养的需求,高校体育教师应正确理解个体素质的内涵,努力把握自身素质的培养,优化自身的素质结构,维护体育教师的职业要求,树立良好的教师形象。
