The more developed state-owned metal products are Japan, the United States, Britain, Italy, West Germany, Belgium, Sweden, South Korea, the former Soviet Union and so on. Japan has 956 metal products factory, mostly small and medium-sized factories, exports of metal products account for the world’s first. The United States has nearly 300 metal products factory. Britain is the country with the earliest development of metal products. In 1984, there were more than 6,000 varieties and specifications. West Germany a total of more than 260 metal products business, with a total output of about 2.5 million tons, of which 90,000 tons of steel wire rope, accounting for exports
