汉字是世界上历史最悠久的文字之一,汉字教学在教育史上也是源远流长的。古人在识字教学上取得了丰富的经验, 《千字文》《百家姓》《三字经》《幼学琼林》等一大批启蒙教材就是中国古代识字教学的翔实记录和丰硕成果。现代人也在苦苦地探索识字教学的科学之路。随着时代的飞速发展,快捷高效的进行识字教学已成为基础教育阶段语文教学的一项重要的课题。改革开放以来,我国小学语文教学界开展了许许多多的“识字教学”的实验和研究,并取得了显著的成效。河南省是我国古代传说中仓颉造字的故乡;我国现在能见到了最早的汉字——甲骨文,就是在河南省殷墟被发现的。可以说河南是我国古文字的诞生地之一。在今天,河南也是识字教学实验与研究的热土。本书的作者多年来一直致力于识字教学实验和研究,现将其言之成理的识字教学思想与行之有效的识字教学方法相结合,编著成《低幼语文读本——成语捷龙识字》(又名成语捷龙识字法。下同)一书,堪称出自这片热土的慧眼独具的识字教材。
